My Detailed Analysis of Possible 2016 Candidates
Presidential elections are a big deal. The debates, policy discussions and campaigns all weigh heavily on our future as a nation. Therefore it’s important I take recent news about possible candidates seriously.
With that in mind, I’d like to present you with a serious of analysis on those candidates who plan on running. I recently read Double Down: Game Change 2012 and found much of the story both fascinating and frustrating. There was a lot of drama and intrigue, not unlike a House of Cards episode. But some more substantial candidates would help add some urgency, a sense of importance perhaps. Clearly this election won’t just be a tired rehash of the same fights we had in 2008 and 2012. With people like Rand Paul on the Republican side (pity his recent regrettable comments on immigration, let’s hope he repents for that un-libertarian position later) and Jim Webb on the Democratic side, surely we can hope for a “healthy” debate that well-paid cable news hosts are always talking about.
So who else do we have as possibilities? Who might shake things up?
Rick Santorum, Rudy Giuliani, Rick Perry, Hillary Clinton, Mitt Romney(!)…
and Mike Huckabee.
